History:
007038-CCXR is the first Koenigsegg which is able to run on E85-fuel (bio-fuel) and is the very first model of the CCXR series. 007038-CCXR is very important for the devolpment of the CCXRs and usage of E85-fuel in general as well as the capability to be the first homologated production car which reaches more than 1000 horsepower on E85-fuel. The first presentation to the public took place during the Geneva Motor Show in March 2007. To emphasize the usage of bio fuel 007038-CCXR had some extra badges on the car stating FlowerPower which were put on the car for presentation purposes. Another appearance of 007038-CCXR was at the Motorfestivalen, a car show in Norway in April 2007. Only a few days later 007038-CCXR crashed while having a photo shoot for a Top Gear show and ended in a ditch. Somebody must have driven 007038-CCXR and there were only two persons talked about to be the crash driver. The two in question are the senior engineer of Koenigsegg and/or the production manager. The last one mentioned was suppose to have crashed 007038-CCXR while talking on his mobile phone. Who crashed the car is still unsolved to the public. The Miles Per Hour (MPH) Event was attended by 007038-CCXR in November 2007 together with 007015-CCR, 007033-CCX and 007036-CCX. 007038-CCXR also showed up at the Miles Per Hour Stockholm Event during February 2008, accompanied by 007012-CCGT and 007015-CCR. 007038-CCXR was seen with her Majesty Crown Princess Mette-Marit of Norway while her Majesty toured in Fredrikstad. Her Majesty Crown Princess Mette-Marit of Norway visited the industrial designer Bard Eker who is also a part owner of the Koenigsegg AB. 007038-CCXR was registered on May 9th, 2008 in Norway with its first licence plate DL90945 and only four months later the car dealership Autostrada Sport listed 007038-CCXR for sale. In the following three years 007038-CCXR was seen once in 2009 and approximately one year later spotted in Tylösand in Sweden during July 2010 and last in October 2010 when 007038-CCXR was seen at the Broom Festival. 007038-CCXR showed up again two years later, in August 2012 during the Kagerod Skane and Knutstorp racetrack Events. Also in 2012 007038-CCXR attended the Gran Turismo Europe Event in September 2012. In April 2013 the Koenigsegg factory was visited by 007038-CCXR at least for an exterior change from black to colours of the Norwegian Flagg in a red-white-blue mix which was foiled onto the original high-gloss black car paint. Maybe 007038-CCXR even received a performance upgrade. With the new three coloured exterior 007038-CCXR participated in the Gumball 3000 Event in 2013. During August 2013 007038-CCXR entered the Gran Turismo Europe with a new exterior. 007038-CCXR was foiled again, this time in red and white. With the second change 007038-CCXR was again on sale in November 2013 and again with Autostrada Sport. 007038-CCXR remained unsold 2013 and also in the beginning of 2014. Therefore 007038-CCXR toured during the first half of 2014 through some car dealerships in Scandinavia: Melbystand Sweden, Autostrada Sport Norway and Göteborg Sweden. Until July 2014 007038-CCXR remaining unsold and was transported to the exclusive car dealership Pace and official representative for Koenigsegg in Germany. Before 007038-CCXR was listed for sale by Pace, the red and white foil was removed by Pace and the original high-gloss black car paint became visible again. Pace promoted 007038-CCXR also at the Holland`s Supercar Sunday Event on August 14th, 2014 and many other occasions but the car remained unsold. Later 007038-CCXR was transported to Norway and was on sale at the car dealership Autoxo. At the same time, 007038-CCXR`s exterior changed again and was the chassis is foiled in matt black. 007038-CCXR participated in the Modball Rally in June 2015, starting in London and ending in Barcelona. For the Modball Rally many stickers were added all over the matt black foil. By beginning 2023 it seems, that the car up for sale again with a clear carbon foil fitted.

Exterior Look:
007038-CCXR`s exterior colour was initially a high-gloss black car paint. Clear coated carbon fiber was used for the Top Gear Rear Wing, the rear licence plate holder section, side sills and the front splitter. Polished aluminium is used for the model call-out badges with CCX in black letters and the R in a green letter to point out the E85-fuel needed for the 007038-CCXR. Behind the front wheel arches are decorative badges in black and only show the Koenigsegg crest in silver colour. In order to complete the look, the front hood air intake and the windshield washers are also made out of polished alumium. Originally were CCR style telephone dial rims mounted to 007038-CCXR then replaced by Dymag nine-spoke carbon wheels which were again replaced by 11-spoke Dymag wheels and last but not least nine-spoke forged 007038-CCX(R) wheels. 007038-CCXR was wrapped three times with different foils: 1. Red-White-Blue, representing the norwegian flag - 2. Red-White - 3. Matte Black. And after leaving the Koenigsegg factory the original high-gloss black car paint showed up only one more time on 007038-CCXR - at least as far as known at this time. Please also check with the category History.

Other Details:
Amphasizing the capability to use E85-fuel in 007038-CCXR, the R is in a green letter on both sides badges. All other CCXRs have a red Rs. The green R is continued also into the script on the dashboard. 007038-CCXR is capable to run on E85-fuel as well as on normal fuel because of the very advanced Koenigsegg technology and its flex fuel system. 806 horsepower are generated when running on regular fuel however is raised to 1018 horsepower when using E85-fuel which is absolutely amazing. Again Koenigsegg has the title as the world`s most powerful production automobile.
