The 2010 Agera is the origin and inception of the Agera S where by also the development of the Agera R supported the progress of engineering of the S-model.

The S-Model was produced for markets with an availability of E85 biofuel, like Malaysia to which the Agera S was introduced in 2014, opening again the market for Koenigsegg® after the CCXR.
Having most of the upgrades of the R-model, the Agera S is optimised for gasoline with a low octane content however still generating a maximum power output of 1030 hp (the R-model generates 960 hp on the same low octane gasoline).
The 100th Koenigsegg® manufactured is an Agera S and received 24-carat gold plated inlays. In addition received the name „Hundra“ which means „one hundred“in Swedish. Giving a Koenigsegg® car a name became popular especially for Ageras.
